Think about the places you move through every day: your office, your home, your favorite café. What part of those environments works harder than the floor beneath your feet?
Surprisingly, flooring is often one of the last decisions made in a construction or renovation project. Yet it’s one of the most impactful. It influences how a space feels, functions and flows. It’s the literal foundation of every step taken, every chair rolled, every moment lived.
At Circadia, we see flooring not as a finishing touch, but as a foundational design element. It’s always underfoot, always in use, and that’s why we approach it with intention, expertise, and a deep commitment to client needs. Our team blends design insight with technical know-how to deliver flooring solutions that are durable, safe, and visually compelling.
Every member of our sales team comes from a design background. That means we don’t just recommend products; we evaluate environments and craft flooring strategies that elevate how people experience a space.
“Our team loves walking through a client’s space, seeing what’s working and what’s not,” says Lara Rassette, Vice President & General Manager of Circadia Flooring.
This design-first approach ensures that every flooring recommendation is tailored to the unique needs of the space and the people who use it. Whether it’s a high-traffic hallway, a quiet executive office, or a collaborative break room, we consider how flooring can support the function and feel of the environment.
Today’s flooring isn’t shy. It’s expressive, sustainable and smarter than ever. At Circadia, we showcase the latest trends—from vibrant patterns to eco-conscious materials—in our regularly refreshed showroom vignettes.
“We’re seeing more boldness in the market. Gray isn’t the default anymore,” Rassette notes.
Sustainability is central to our approach. We use low-VOC adhesives, source recycled-content flooring, and partner with manufacturers on recycling programs. We also donate reusable materials to organizations like Habitat for Humanity ReStore.
“With Black & Veatch, we helped them donate enough old flooring to build a house and a half,” says Rassette, in reference to a successfully completed project for the Kansas City-based engineering firm that yielded a bounty of reusable materials.
This commitment to sustainability isn’t just about materials; it’s about mindset. We believe that beautiful spaces should also be responsible ones. That’s why we’re constantly exploring new ways to reduce waste, reuse resources and rethink what flooring can be.
Circadia’s flooring checklist ensures every recommendation is grounded in real-world use and client priorities:
“We won’t suggest high-maintenance materials if you’re only planning to sweep,” Rassette explains. “And we’ll help you find better quality than what’s on the shelf at big-box stores.”
We understand that every project comes with constraints—whether it’s budget, timeline, or scope. That’s why we work closely with clients to find solutions that meet their needs without sacrificing style or performance.
Circadia’s flooring services go far beyond installation. We’re constantly expanding our offerings to meet evolving client needs.
Our in-house team now installs large format tile (up to 5’ x 10’)—ideal for seamless, high-end finishes across floors, walls, showers, and fireplaces. We’ve trained our installers and invested in the equipment to ensure precision and quality.
These tiles are ideal for hospitality spaces, modern showers and even fireplaces—bringing a sleek, architectural feel to any space. Their versatility makes them a smart choice for both aesthetic and functional upgrades. Find out more about our large format tile solutions.
We partner with Tarkett to deliver performance-driven surfaces for gyms, rec rooms, and multi-use spaces. From material selection to game-line painting, our team handles every detail with care.
“Our installers actually paint those game lines on the floor… it takes a lot of talent,” says Rassette.
Just like all our services, when it comes to commercial flooring installation, our passion is reflected in our process. We handle all aspects of office flooring installation with precision and care, whether it’s quick-turn carpet tiles or luxury vinyl plank. Learn more about our commercial flooring services.
Whether it’s a rec room or a collegiate gymnasium, we’ve got the knowledge and experience to confidently guide our clients to the best options for performance and durability—even down to the on-court paint. Let’s Start Early—and Build Something That Lasts
One of the biggest mistakes we see? Waiting too long to think about flooring. Whether you’re remodeling a single office or rolling out a national program, we encourage clients to bring us in early, even if you’re still figuring things out.
“Sometimes flooring takes years to finalize,” says Rassette. “We’re happy to help you phase it in, start small or work with your timeline.”
Our goal is to be your long-term partner in creating spaces that work AND wow. From quick-turn carpet tiles to luxury vinyl plank, we handle every aspect of commercial flooring installation with precision and care.
Flooring isn’t just what you walk on; it’s what you build on. At Circadia, we’re here to help you make it count.
