Olathe Medical Center: The Birth Place

Project: 109,000-square-foot four-story obstetrics wing. Opened in May 2017. Circadia has a team that is devoted to writing specifications for various end users in the Government, healthcare and commercial markets. Olathe Medical Center a large healthcare facility in Kansas City came to us and asked us to write the furniture specifications for their new Birthing Center that was being constructed. We were told that we were being approached because we would write a specification that would be tight enough to create apples to apples bids. The client wanted us to present manufacturers products within a budgeted estimate developed by Circadia designers. The bid would not allow alternates in an effort to create the apples-to-apples responses. We were paid for our services, and the document was sent to bid. Circadia won the bid, and a successful project was completed.
