Government Office Redesign | Circadia

Written by Circadia | March 05, 2026

A longstanding federal organization supporting U.S. agricultural producers in global markets, turned to Circadia to reimagine its dated workspace. After more than two decades with little change, the existing environment featured isolated offices, poor natural light and underused communal areas that hindered collaboration and employee wellbeing. The agency sought a modern, open plan that better supported teamwork, communication and a sense of community, while making the workplace more attractive to both veteran staff and new talent.

Through a thoughtful interior demolition and redesign, Circadia transformed the 16,000 SF space by removing solid perimeter walls, introducing shared zones and creating a dynamic work café that invites interaction. Natural light now reaches throughout the office, flexible privacy walls balance openness with quiet space and collaborative areas replace outdated cubicles, encouraging idea exchange and learning across departments. Post-project, employees report higher engagement, improved mentorship opportunities between generations and renewed enthusiasm for coming to work — all contributing to a more vibrant, future-ready federal workplace.
